The Sun Rose In My Heart

In Romantic on March 5, 2013 at 2:26 am

When yesterday I thought
Of you, the sun rose so deeply
Within my heart

And the happiness of the
Moment overwhelmed
Me, as tender caring pains
Again began to start

And I found myself living
In a stupor, as if this day
I was drunk on wine

For nothing around me
Really mattered much,
For everything did feel
So fine

For sweet love had it’s
Moment yesterday, as it gently
Carried my heart away

Leaving me so mesmerized
And speechless, without any
Witty things for me to say

For yesterday when I found
Moments of need to begin,
I quickly embraced the image
Which causes happiness to start

And as I embraced the thought
Of you at that moment, I enjoyed
The sun’s soft glow rising again
Deep in my heart.

  7. These words reflect the soul of one who knows ~ one who has stood in that eternal light and danced. Beautiful, dear Wendell. ~ Always, Bobbie

    • Bobbie, your words so touch home, for your spirit dances within that same eternal light! Your words are always inspiring! God bless you, and much love to you always my dear sister!

  8. You are inspiring me to write more love poems! ” …the sun rose so deeply
Within my heart…” Awesome awesome line!

    • Shawn, when His spirit lives within your heart and spirit, it becomes so easy like our Lord to share a pure and unblemished love from within to others asking for nothing in return but just to lift their hearts and minds. In doing so we emulate many of our Lord’s best qualities daily, who came to serve and heal the hearts and souls of many. With that healing touch inside of your words everything that you write will be inspiring! And what is the benefit of doing this, we blossom greatly in a much deeper relationship within His spirit’s glowing love! My reward is just to serve, being a conduit and like you my mind opens to so many ideas and thoughts and the emotions of others, so I happily share what is is gracefully poured into my mind. God bless you, as your are a very, very talented poetic messenger! Thanks for following my blog, and blessing my day!

      • Wondering… if you are a pastor

      • My mom said with the spirits always around me and knowing God from the beginning, i should have been one like her brother, her father, her grandfather and great grandfather, and her native american, mother, grand mothers, and great grandmothers all touched by the spirit! I got it from all sides and he pours it down within me so gracefully and lovingly, this is my love ministry to Him and all who feel His touch and those who soon will feel also his blessings! Even The Baptist, his words brought the wilderness to life! God bless my sister!
