When I saw a diamond
Yesterday, I did see the fire
That lives in your eyes
I saw the deep blazing
Beauty that causes
Grown men to often cry
I felt the pains that
Many endure,
Who suddenly find a
Need…
To have the fire in the
The heart of a diamond
Become theirs, to satisfy
their heart’s daily needs
For in that tiny window
I saw something which
might compare to you
And when I saw you
As the sun did rise
I no longer continued
With this sad ruse
For even though a
Diamond has a fire
That does burn so
Very bright…
Even that brilliant fire
alone cannot compare,
To the flame that daily
lights your eyes so bright.

Thank you Wendell. What is a Hug Award?
Sheri, it’s a very special award that when you read about it you will understand how special and wholesome it is. I posted it last night, I received it my first year of blogging at WordPress. It promotes hope, love, peace, equality and unity for all people in the world! Its for people who without prejudice or bias, use their resources and gifts to make the world a better place for everyone. Take a peak at my post last night Sheri, you so reflect the true meaning of the award! I know your spirit well, and you serve without wanting for anything in return…and the love you give out, multiplies greatly back to your heart leaving you always refreshed! Its a wonderful award – visit my site! God bless and much love to you always my beloved sister!!!!
