If only you would respect her every day
The love whom you said is yours
Then brother you would finally understand
Why to her you have become such a bore

She’s only a young beautiful woman
Who is in constant need of you every day
Of what you always fail to give my friend
And all the special things you forget to say

For every moment within our lives we find
There are many who will need genuine love
And if you are wise you will want to understand
That you are the only one who she still thinks of

For each day she wants you to be near her
And always to hold her so close and really tight
For your arms my friend are the only ones
That make her heart each day feel so right

If only you would take the time each day
To understand this wonderful love of yours
You would really become more enlightened
Why in her life you have become such a bore

For you really must begin to understand my friend
That her love you must never take for granted
Even if you know she holds you close in her heart
Where your spirit’s seeds of love you have implanted

Just like a beautiful flower blooming in the spring
Is in constant need of fresh newly falling rain
Your love is in need of your constant love and affection
To make more lovely her life’s remaining days.
