Lord, you are my very beginnings
Surely my life really began with You
You placed me in my mothers womb
While Placing your spirit in me so true
You allowed your breath to enter me
And in this world you allowed me to stay
That moment when my mothers womb opened
You brought my life into the light of day
From my very beginning I belonged to you
Because You alone, my Lord, wanted it to be
That one day you would use the deposit
Which deep in my heart your grace would leave
You permitted me when I was very young
To enjoy so many wonderful spiritual things
So even when I was able to pick up a pencil
I drew crosses on every created scene
And each day you allowed me to always embrace
The sweet blessings which for me were prepared
Always knowing a day would never surely come
When I would not always taste of your loving care.

Many blessings Bro Wendell! I am so grateful that He kept us, even when we were of the world, wooing us and drawing us ever closer, until at last we could run no more. I pray the Lord continues to richly bless you and your family in Jesus’ name, amen.
Love,
Cheryl

I am humbled by your words Cynthia, and yet i embrace the spirit of love in your words! I feel truly blessed by your comments! Always your brother dear sister! God bless!
Crosses and His star! My mother always felt his special touch around me, and her brother, her father, her grandfather and great grandfather were all ministers, and it goes back deeply on both sides of her family, and i resemble them much, so in my generation, the one who always took His love for granted and ran away from him a lot, He always kept me in his pocket…its like his words ‘Jacob I love, and Esau I hated’, I knew I always knew i had his blessings throughout my life. A beautiful thing Sis!
Wow–what a story! So now, in a way, you preach His message of love through poetry! Wow, again.
From your birth, He has held you in His heart and shaped you into the light you are today. How blessed we are to share it with you, dear Wendell. ~ Love, Bobbie
