My destiny was fashioned by your hand
As you gave me my first breath to live
And no matter the road I took in my life
You always found it in your spirit to forgive
I was yours from my humble beginnings
As you surely became my greatest joy
And I could never go far away from you
Or the heavenly bliss which you employ
My thoughts and dreams were always of you
As each day you embraced me so close
And when I would awaken from my sleep
It was your love I always needed the most
I know I will never be separated from you
From your love that lives within so deep
For Father, you are everything in life to me
And the beautiful treasure i shall always keep.

What sweet proclamation, Wendell. I read it through twice and both times, I am reminded that there will come a time when only one page is left to write. I will fill it words – the same one again and again. Such is the essence of the parable of talents. We are given love, not to bury but to invest. Were there but one page, yes, I know. I love. I have loved. I will love. There lies our proclamation of faith in the God of love. Beautiful, as always. ~ Love, Bobbie
My sister, the gift we are given by our loving God, it is not to be hidden under a bushel, or buried in the ground for it is great wealth to the heart and mind whom would receive it and is never ashamed of receiving it. Wonderful words that are written on my heart’s wall, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul! And love your brothers and sisters as you would love yourself! The truest of blessings in each, for it makes us better and wholesome spirits! When we love with a godly love it is a completed love…one that will never disappear not in this life or the next. My rest shall be wonderfully complete tonight…thanks the blessing dear sister!

Something about this poem reminds me of the passage I was reading yesterday, where Hagar realizes that God has “seen” her, and that she too, has seen Him–in His personal words/actions toward her. So uplifting, brother Wendell–God bless you–love, sis Caddo
