I was swept away by your words this day
And my mind passed the moments in a daze
For you kissed me first then you added this,
That you would love me till your dying days
And even though they are the promised words
That my heart had longed to hear
I just never would’ve expected so soon
Those warm words to gently embrace my ears
For I had dreamed my love so often
Of a wonderful life spent with you
Never realizing that as time passed by
My dream would become so true
So now my love please understand
If right now I am in a hopeless daze
For I found my prayer to be answered
