“Your Love To Keep”

In Romantic, Uncategorized on January 2, 2013 at 10:46 am

If only you could see my dearest
what my eyes see when I see you
it’s a beauty beyond description
Full of a love so warm and true

Its liken to an ever fiery furnace
With an undying flame that always burns
For I see inside of your brown eyes
A want and need to passionately learn

If I would give a chance to you
To love me dear so very complete
Would it really be truly possible
I mean your love for me to keep

For inside your eyes I see a pure love
And within that love my heart sees you
And I don’t want to fall in love today
Unless you are sure you want me too.

  1. That was beautiful. Did you write that for your wife? My husband doesn’t write, and he expresses his love for me in the things he does… caring for me when I’m sick… holding me when I’m in need of comfort… repairing the things that are broken… His poetry is in his actions…

I’d say that your wife is very blessed that you can express your love with such beautiful words. :) And I would say that I’m equally blessed that my husband can express his love with actions. All in all, we’re both very blessed. Keep blessing your wife with those lovely words the Lord gives you!

    Lots of love in Christ,
    Cheryl

    • First answer yes, 2nd,i always put my wife and two daughters before myself…and they love being spoiled, and i show it to them with actions, and the heart i share and what they see from my spirit! They are a treasure to me. . I do not need much to make me happy, my relationship with God has helped me with that! Thanks for the comments!
